The sad thing is in past seasons if there was a two goal lead, I would call it a night and head on to bed. Well not this season. I don't think I've ever seen them blow this many two goal leads before. I hope they can pick up their defense as the season goes along.

Makes about as much sense as Josi getting an interfence call when the Avs player was reaching for the puck.

Seriously though, probably happened at the benches.

Preds will have PP to start third after Erik Johnson misconduct penalty at end of period

Good game gents, enjoy the win. His stick flew up into the crowd when he blocked a shot = 10 minute misconduct. Apparently it was diving = 2 minute minor.

Coverage breakdowns are part of the problem. Unfortunately this team has been spoiled by above average goaltending, so even average is going to expose problems with how this roster is currently constructed

Lulz. Blew a 3-0 lead and a 4-2 lead so far on this road trip.

This game is far from over with Hutton in net.

Our defense without EJ is laughable, especially this game where all of them decide they don't know how to skate.

Looking at the three goals allowed tonight ... Hutton deserves blame for the third. The first, he turns to face Duchene, Weber can't prevent the pass across and Wilson doesn't get Parenteau. The second was a laser over the shoulder.

So many rebounds Hutton gives up are saves off his shoulders. We're so used to seeing Pekka so tall even in the butterfly that the shorter goalie taking pucks off the shoulder area is strange. He blocks the puck rather than catch it or absorb it in the gut.

The team cannot afford to keep giving up so many chances off the rush.

Wait what the hell did Johnson get the misconduct for? I saw him get banged up from the blocked shot; I'm guessing he chirped about it being after the horn and got nailed.

And that hit on Jones early was *********. I avoided posting because I was on GCL delayed, but it pissed me off. Easily off the ice and straight in the numbers.

thanks for the info, and the "concession".... easy to be magnanimous when you are 12-1

one thing about it.. for us it will either be an inspiring victory, or a crushing defeat

Agree with 101st; only third goal was remotely Hutton's fault.

I thought Goose checked Johnson and made his stick snap in half. Didn't see a clear shot of it though.

The next time they showed Johnson he didn't have his stick.

Sounded like he threw his stick against the glass, and since it was broken, part of it flew into the crowd.

I hear what you are saying, but I will again state that a good goalie makes saves even when failing to do so wouldnt be technically his fault. If every bad play by our defense winds up in our net, we are screwed.

And I can honestly say the last few games I have really been noticing many solid things from Ekholm. Not much flash, but excellent decision making in most cases and most tellingly no glaring mistakes. When you are not noticing a young D man often that is a very good thing

Rinne gives up that first one more often than not. The second goal, maybe he gets with his shoulder depending if he's in the zone or not. The third, he probably stops.

Agree with this. Pekka has set the bar so high even he can't always measure up. It is really easy right now to lay it at Hutton's feet, he is not entirely responsible but does share some

exactly. with Rinne we are up 4-2 or 4-1. Hutton isnt awful, but he's just not good enough to carry this particular team very far

I would really love a win with a differential larger than 1. I won't complain if it IS 1, but it would still be nice.
