Can't believe anyone is blaming Hutton! Way too many odd man rushes given. Duchene is lethal for one, and so are the Avalanche !!!

Wilson with his 2nd.

Preds 5
Avs 4

Avs, you're now on the clock. Awaiting the tie breakaway goal.

I try to be as optimistic as about anyone, but no way we preserve this lead.

Every time Weber rings the puck up the boards it seems to turn into a scoring chance. Either get someone there to tip it out, or use the glass.

Hutton seems to be doing fine except for odd man rushes. Made a few good saves there.

Hanging him out to dry repeatedly, then complain about the rookie's play between the pipes ... not that in front of him. The team's total defense is lacking of late. Tonight they are giving up rush after rush with players coming into this game with unbelievable shooting percentages ... three of four Avs goal scorers came into this game at 18.8% or better shooting percentage.

How often does that exact play beat Rinne, Lundqvist, Rask, Luongo?
This just in, NHL first line players are good.

Good NHL goalies make saves they shouldn't make.

Seemed an overage flash in the pan playing big minutes in meaningless games for the Islanders. Had a great season last year though. Round a .667 PPG this season, which I think is probably more realistic, but still probably a bit high.
