2013-2014 NHL Payrolls, per Capgeek:

12. Columbus - $64,055,691

16. New York Rangers - $63,705,825

Although this is as much an indictment on how Columbus chooses to spend their money, given our record so far this year, your comment remains a little out of whack

They just shelled out a ton of money to sign Nathan Horton...

So no room for top shelf? My intention was to keep my self occupied while waiting for this game to start. Just brushed my teeth and put on my pyjamas.

Apparently CBus decided to ruin everyone's day by not dressing an all ex-NYR top line...

#CBJ lines: Foligno - Dubinsky - Gaborik; Atkinson - Johansen - Umberger; Anisimov - MacKenzie - Letestu; Comeau - Chaput - Boll.

Must be? I really don't know what I'm talking about here. Seems like Colombus are spending Money as it was going out of fashion. Was just trying to make a half wit explanation to why showcasing a playmaker on the 4th line would make sense, and it obviously doesn't. But it killed another half hour.

Don't have to worry about Dubinsky scoring unless the nets empty so at least there is that.

Where is your sense of nostalgia?

E: Even Zipay is disappointed:

From warmups, looks like Foligno-Dubi-Gaborik for CBJ, not Anisimov with the two former NYR

Lol so much this.

I'll be mad if Dobo scores, just as I'll be mad if Atkinson scores. It's all the same to me.

I posted this in yesterdays GDT:

"3-0 Rangers. Hank will be bored. Crosby will be sad. Pyatt will not fail, not more than usual."

This will also be my prediction for today.
