300th career game for Quick, 26th Shutout, 158th win.

3 straight games Kopi has scored a goal.
Richards on his own hot streak.

Kings staying strong with some key injuries. Yeah, it was Buffaslug... But a solid game nonetheless.

And now to vanquish Vancouver on Saturday.

Kind of a "meh" game. No even strength goals against the Sabres = bad.

Separately, I don't think Vey played an even strength shift in the third period. Still far more useful than Fraser, who was getting a measly five minutes of ice time per night. Vey played a little over 11 minutes.

Good game. Quick looked great tonight, good for him getting the shutout. Richards is so clutch it's stupid.

Doughty has been amazing the past few games. Best king.

Quick needs to always play like this. Best game for him of the season.

Vey is good. Toffoli needs to never be sent down again. He's amazing.

Richards is getting better and better every game. Smarter.

Ed Snider doesn't think so. Yo Ed, how's that trade working out for you?

Richie had 6 SOG's tonight. It's a shame it takes Carter being out for him to do that. And it's a shame the Kings don't play Buffalo more, Richards with 27 points in 23 games vs Sabres.

And Richards has a gift of being able to irritate, aggravate and frustrate certain players he targets (esp in the playoffs) and can distract them right off their game (LIke with Kessler and burrows vs the canucks)
In the 2011 playoffs, he targeted Miller and from his first shift, he made it a point to chirp, harass and pester him. Followed him around the back of the net , checking the puck, and planted himself in front of MIller on every shift, running his mouth. Drove Milelr nuts to the point of Miller getting a crosscheck penalty. Richards then proceeded to add oil to the fire and began to chirp about the Sabres getting away with murder . And that didn't make Miller very happy.
This 12 second post game video, Miller's eyes are glazed...as he calls Richarsd a mass murderer.

I can't tell you how badly the Flyers miss him, no leadership whatsoever. Kings are lucky to have him and Carter.

Remember back in the olden games when Brown actually made a difference? Wonder where that guy went.
If he's injured, plop his butt down and bring up someone and give them a chance

He's playing the same frustrating style of hockey we're used to seeing from him. Stops plays dead when the puck gets to him, shoots the puck into players, tries to go through players as opposed to going around players, doesn't crash the net enough. He's always been a wildly inconsistent players, both physically and offensively, so we learn to accept him for what he is: an expensive grinder who can chip in occasionally. He has the potential to be such a dominant player like we saw from him during the Cup run, but how often does he play like that? It comes in stretches.

I was just tuning in, but sounded like Sutter wasn't happy with Muzzin.

He played just fine tonight. I see no reason to be critical of Brown after tonight's game.

So we won 2-0, get a shutout, went 4/4 on the PK, had goals from Richards and Kopi and got the ROW.

But we didn't blow them out 6-0. Terribad game.

He puts up points which is good but he's just a box of rocks mentally.

Brown is a streaky winger, he is what he is.

He will have one/two month's were he plays out of his mind...

In the last four games for the Kings and Flyers, Mike Richards has more points than the whole Flyers team.

Wait... so does Muzzin. Muzzin is better than the Flyers!

He honestly looked good. Nolan and Clifford made a few turn overs and got him benched.

Great. Had PP, PK, and regular ice time. He did well for his first game. I would love to see what he could do with some more talent on his line
