Looked good. Played 11:00, got some PP time. Not bad for a first NHL game.

Anyone watching Kings Weekly? Seeing how the team treated the kid from Make A Wish, Tyler, and his family, really hits home how amazingly nice and approachable hockey players are.

It was a breath of fresh air to actually see someone with some semblance of skill on the bottom six

He looked ok, lost a few battles against the Boards. His faceoff's were decent 2-5.

Played 10.33 probably all the minutes they wanted to play him, pretty standard for a rookie.

Would rather see King/Vey/Nolan, Clifford/Nolan have never been good paired together.

Perfect special teams = victory.

For all the mistakes we like to zero in on, its getting hard to argue with Muzzin's production.

Again, Toffoli looked spectacular on the PP and okay ES, while Vey looked pretty decent in his debut. Not great but he looks like he belongs.

I wish Regehr had played for more teams in his past, he really seems to put his head on straight for those games.

Good enough to get Fraser a plane ticket by trade deadline if not before. Played 10 minutes and didn't look nervous for his first NHL game. And I thought Nolan played well with him on that line.

TT is a stud in the making . So comfortable and has an instinct to make the right move to the right area nad just shoots. I thought he and Richards were good out there, but King doesn't work on that line.

And how good is the PP gonna look with Kopi, Doughty, Carter and TT with Richards quarterbacking. Plenty of receivers for him to throw to..

Liked Tiffoli's game, kid can shoot. Vey was alright, had a couple tough shifts but was decent on the pk. Already better than Fraser though. No ES goals against the worst team in the league is concerning, but a ROW is a ROW!

Flyers games are early Feb and middle of March. Might be a whole new roster in Philly by then.

And there is a rumor that the Panthers have had talks with Lavvy. Not that it's shock, they are struggling and he's available.

The best thing about that win was Quick. He was razor sharp and Buffallo had some amazing chances.

Flawless Victory!!!! HAHAHHAHAH!

Vey... Clifford/Nolan crashing the net.. Vey swoops in... grabs puck rotates and puts it on Doughty's stick for a one timer. Simple play, but one you will not see from Fraser/Stoll. Also Vey/Clifford used on PK... Kids are not alright... lol

How does that team only have 3 wins with all that energy they had tonight?

TT... 1/2 inch lower and that would have been a nasty shot.

That is what I am thinking, I have watched about four Sabre games this year, they should have won three of them.

That team plays much better than a three win team.

I completely agree, the kids are much better than some of the players on the roster. Especially on the kings board kids get much respect because they are inexperienced.

He just voiced his opinion as well, no need to be a sarcastic jerk in retaliation.

As someone who sees the Sabres play regularly, no they do not.

Another positive: Matt Frattin was noticeable tonight. He threw 2 or 3 solid checks. Too bad they were against his teammates.

Vey with a solid debut IMO. Liked his puck possession.

Not much else you can say about Richards that hasn't been said. Clutch, noticeable, dependable in all three zones, threw pucks to the net, got to the net himself.

My kind of player.

So was the sideshow that is "Ron Rolston Hockey" as bad as you anticipated?! No offense will be taken whatsoever, so please don't hold back.

I suppose I'm right with the Buffalo fanbase in wondering what happened to Myers.

Weird. He played good tonight and has been good all season except the first 3 or 4 games.

I actually thought Buffalo looked pretty good 5 on 5 and had some great chances. Quick stole some and the others we just got lucky.

Just got back from work, hell ****ing yes! We needed a shutout win by Quick. Richards is amazing. Kopitar can always use another goal. How did Vey look?

Good game to build a little bit of momentum from. Onto the next game, GO KINGS!

He's on the upswing. And we saw some things we haven't seen in... Ever ... Tonight (initiating a fight)

Thought he played well for the most part, but it's also relative to how he has played the last two years. So yeah. Probably a different sight (what we saw versus how he looked to outsiders)

So last year, Brown-Kopitar-Williams was by far the best possession line in the NHL. with Williams being the best possession player in the league, Kopitar #2 and Brown #4.

this year, even with Brown being useless, Williams and Kopitar are yet again #1 and 2 in the league respectively.

http://www.extraskater.com/players/on-ice?season=2013

Williams has to be 1 of, if not the best contract in the league. Coming into this year, he was second overall slightly behind Datsyuk in Corsi since it has been recorded, but he may be ahead now

And people wanted Kopitar traded. Palm to the face
