I think he's staying.
Or not. Too bad.

"Maxim joue mieux lorsqu'il est en possession de la rondelle, a noté Carbonneau. On le savait intense et bon patineur. Mais ça ne suffit pas dans la Ligue nationale. Un joueur doit démontrer autre chose."

Also, how about... a faster, grittier version, Power Forward version of...:
CARBO? (with some Claude Lemieux).

Lapierre: 3 points in 3 games, +4 differential.

How do you send him down? What do you say to him?

You can't send him down, certainly not now!

You say to him, "If you keep playing like you are playing now, you will be an NHLer for good."

Are you referencing the comparison I made over a year ago?

Maxime plays best when he has the puck, noted Carbo. We knew he was intense and a fast skater. But that alone is not enough to lpay in the NHL (intense and speed), you need to demonstrate more.

If he turns out to be a "Brian Skrudland" type player I for one would be extremely happy!! Skrud was a "MONSTER" and McGuire would love him...unless they write a book about him aswell

Skrudland was carrying a fridge on is back, Lappy is flying.

I'd say a bigger E.Bélanger

Actually, I wanted to compare him to Mike McPhee -- only, McPhee didn't played Center, and Skrudland did... And Skrudland was rather slowish on the side.
