There's a Kevin Mize who is the "the Dealer Principal and President of O'Hare Honda and O'Hare Hyundai, located in Des Plaines, Illinois." and the "director on the board of the Chicago Automobile Trade Association".
The Chicago Blackhawks have apologized to the Winnipeg Jets and to the NHL after Jets defenseman Adam Pardy had his helmet removed from his head and had beer poured on him by fans at the United Center during Wednesday's game.
"We have spoken to those involved in the incident with an opposing player late in our home game last night at the United Center," the Blackhawks said in a statement on Thursday. "The individuals were immediately ejected from the arena to preserve the safety of everyone in attendance, including other fans, players and officials. We have also been in communication with the Winnipeg Jets and the NHL to convey our organization's apologies."
I definitely saw the women, there were 2 together, getting ejected. I didn't see the beer being poured and assumed that one of them were injured by the falling glass.
Helmet Guy was ejected too. I rewatched the game video today, and you can see him being escorted up the stairs shortly after he loses the helmet along with the beer pouring woman who I think was with him.
Mize's actions violate the ticketholder's agreement. If he's a season ticket holder, technically the Blackhawks could force him to forfeit it (or them). Being that he's now a household name / celebrity whose business is sadly certain to burgeon from his antics, I doubt the Blackhawks will do much. Gotta confess, I laughed my arse off when I saw his face during the live broadcast. Helluva hit by Bollig.
