Who is the FOUTH star this year ?

For you, who is the best performer, unheralded player this year with the Habs - excluding our first three stars, Koivu, Huet and Souray ?

Chris Higgins/Andrei Markov.

Higgins missed a lot of games but if he continues to produce as he did prior to his injury he is up there.

Markov is the most important player to the team in terms of producing offence.

I guess Perezhogin Johnson and Bonk are up there as well............Well my answer sucks because I am so indecisive.

Sorry, I forgot Higgins. Probably because he has played only 14 games so far this year. If he had played more, he would had push Souray out of the first three stars list.

Perez/Bonk/Johnson

Not only they completely neutralized every single opposite team's best line, but they contributed offensively.

I'd put Perez ahead of Johnson.

I didn't vote for Markov because I don't consider him a candidate for the fourth star; he's in my three stars (Koivu-Huet-Markov).

I voted for Bonk. Game in, game out he shuts down the opposite top players and even generates quite a few scoring chances on his own. He really has been one of the revelations of this season.

I can make a case for at least three different players, which says a lot about us, depth-wise.

1. Higgins was having an unbelievable season before the injury and if he resumes playing like he was he'll have a huge impact on the team.

2. Bonk is playing better than I expected, and I think he has a lot to do with the fact that his whole line is really clicking both offensively and defensively.

3. Komi is just owning people, not that that's anything new, but this year he's doing it without getting caught out of position and turning the puck over. Plus, by mid-November he had one more goal than he had all last season, including two SHGs. And I'm sure everyone remembers the hit on Tucker back in October

I voted other.

I really have to say that the fourth star is Perez-Bonk-Johnson, the whole line. They have been the most consistant line, and the most effectiove line also. They play against the top line night in night out and manage to have + ratings. I really think that they are the line that gave us the best hockey. They don't score many goals, but in hokcey you have to score more than the other team, and they have taken care of the other team every night and gace us great wins.

If your team has the second best points sheet in the East, that means that more than 4 players are doing great.

After Koivu, Huet and Souray Markov is by far the best player so I voted for him.

But yeah we didnt hear much about the third line this year and they've been great all season long!

I put Markov though I think it could be argued he could replace Souray in the top 3 you have listed. The most unsung hero is Bonk for sure.

I am not sure what you meant.

Maybe you were asking about our league of 12-and-under foungsters. If so, I am happf to report that the FOUTH star this fear, is Freddf Fates.

On the othe hand, pehaps you ae talking about "fouth" as in the thing that comes afte "thid". If so, then it would be eally iesponsible of me to say Michael yde, given his athe poo play in ecent games, but it could be adek Bonk o Andei Makov.

Markov should be the 2nd star, if not first. He surely has the biggest vision on ice, and he's spectacular on the first pass. We're screwed without him.

I vote for the third line, they've been the most consistent have shut down other teams top lines and chipped in offensively too...can't ask much more than that.

I also think that they compliment each other well and make each other better. Bonk is better b/c of Johnson and both are better b/c of Perezhogin and Bonk makes the other two better so I vote for all 3.
