Moulson was drafted by Pittsburgh.

Don't like Moulson one bit. I'm not big on taking Dudes from the east. I feel players fall down to earth especially on the kings. Especially Frattin.

the possibility of signing Moulson this summer, hell i won't be surprised if DL makes a move and trades with BUF for him to be honest. i would like to see him added well before the deadline. the closer to the deadline, the higher the price. the addition of Moulson to LA's line up will only increase their chances of going deep and playing with CHI.

he is being brought in to do one thing, SCORE goals. yes he will play within the system like everyone else.

one advantage of playing with Kopitar is having the cushion of Kopitar for 200 feet of ice. how often do we see 23 and 14 as the third guy back for LA? sometimes, but not all the time. that responsibility largely falls back to the center within LA's system.

that line has and continues to lack a player with a sniper mentality. DB and JW go through spurts, but aren't what i consider a true sniper. DB gets a lot of trash goals from in tight and is counted on for physicality down low. JW is a puck possession guy that has more touch than Brown, but he isn't a true trigger man. Kopi and JW work well together because they control possession of the puck. Brown not so much. a 1-2 combo of 11-14 controlling the puck just needs a guy with a scoring touch.

Those are first liners. He doesn't have a tool box close enough to either of them to compare them. The East is ******.

As much as I would love a Kane, it would take a massive overpayment to land him.

Him being a HS is surprising though.

I thought you'd be smart enough to realize that Semin and Moulson are light years apart and different.
Semin is a top talent, Moulson is a scrub.

The fact you'd call Moulson a scrub shows how weak your hockey intellect is. I've shown you numbers to show how they are comparible, and how possibly Moulson is actually better. If you still want to say Semin is better, that's fine, to each his own, but to call Moulson a scrub is just uneducated.

Oh really must be hard being on a line with Tavares right. Moulson has a good shot, but to compare an apple to an orange is just sad, please stop.

No you're right, being on a line with Ovechkin is much more difficult. Silly me.

Oh you are so right Ovechkin was lighting it up at that time. Silly for sure.

Actually it was. Moulson scored 30 goals when Tavares dished out a whopping 30 assists (54 points) for the year.

So trading for a top 6 LW at this point would mean sending TT back to the AHL... although it would allow Carter to move back to wing. As the Kings are at the Cap space would need to be opened up as well.
23/11/14
10/77/73
becomes
23/11/14
**/10/77

Option 1: trade Williams bring up Toffoli to get the money for Moulson.

Option 2: Move Stoll and keep Toffoli in AHL. (RW: Williams/Carter/Frattin/Nolan)

Trade deadline: could throw a 3rd for a team to pay up to 50% of salary. Money may not be that big of an issue at that point, but what do you want to trade for say a 30 year old Moulson? First? Williams?

Just not that stoked on the costs of picking up a LW. What it would take to clear the cap... Sending Toffoli back down... Picks...

Also if the Kings are looking to make a deep run in the playoffs and the pick is going to be late in the 1st round then it will probably take a 1st(almost a 2nd) and not a 2nd (almost a 3rd rounder)

Six seasons Semin played with Ovechkin, Ovechkin put up 286 assists and 573 points. That's an average of 48 assists and 96 points a season.

The 3.5 seasons (counting last season as a half season due to the lockout) Moulson played with Tavares, Tavares put up 137 assists and 249 points. That's an average of 39 assists and 71 points a season.

Ovechkin lit it right the hell up with Semin, a lot more than Tavares with Moulson.

Yeah, brilliant point.

Moulson produced a better goal per game pace than Semin, despite the fact Tavares wasn't scoring or setting up goals to near the same level as Ovechkin.

It's only been 5 games, very poor sample size, but Moulson is scoring over a ppg with buffalo with 2 goals and 4 assists. Will be interesting to see if he keeps that pace.

I'm not getting into you 2 ladies bickering, but to say playing with ovi is not as good as playing with Tavares is asinine, at best.
