Why did Rose's knee injury turn him into a turnover machine?

Yea, we played there in September. It was next to a baseball field, so I think you're right.

Bruce Weber and Kansas State lost their home opener to Northern Colorado. Still can't believe that tool got a job as a high major head coach after what he did at Illinois.

That was a fun Bulls game to go to. I really wanted Lu to get that triple double.

Ahh, I see. Yeah, that whole area is new, haven't been out there since it was all redone.

West Brom just tied it up, 28' left. Liverpool rolling over Fulham.

I guess I got to give props to Illini. WBA looks like they have a draw in hand at the very worst. Chelsea look like crap (I'm not complaining though!).

Baggies in front now. Chelsea will probably score soon, though, getting all kinds of chances now.

They have squandered a few prime opportunities at this point.

I don't understand how you guys even watch soccer. I used to, but I can't even stomach how big of a joke the officiating is. Seems like theres at least 2 atrocious calls every single match. Its the perfect example of a sport living in an antiquated past.

You're acting like there aren't any terrible calls (or non-calls) in any other sports. You could say hockey is living in an antiquated past by allowing fighting.

I tried to watch some of the MLS Playoffs, but God damn that **** is boring. Those fans in Portland are trying way too hard to act like Europeans.

But soccer is fun to play and I like watching Team USA.

no, but its a near ubiquitous occurrence in soccer. Also, allowing fighting isn't even remotely close to refusing to add more than one official to cover like 2 acres of playing surface. Refusing to utilize any technology, which has resulted in horrible errors(england no goal) on the biggest stages of the sport. Not to mention the pervasive culture of diving and stupidity of having a clock that counts upwards, never stops and then having a person add time at the end of halves. It truly is a terribly organized sport.

Love the part about the clock that counts upwards...who ****ing cares?

The only relevant thing you mentioned was the lack of replay for questionable goals.

EDIT: Shows how much I know. Apparently from the looks of what IU posted replay is being implemented.

Last edited by Kurtosis: 11-09-2013 at 05:12 PM. Reason: Wrong about replay

Yeah, big fkn deal. Do I wish it would stop for injuries, goals, subs, etc? Yeah, kinda, but I don't dislike it enough to make me think less of the sport.

The thing I hate most is how easy penalties are. It's a free goal, they should have to take them from the top of the 18.

Scoring a penalty in soccer is so easy I'm pretty sure I could score at least one out of 10 against the best goalie in the world. There's nothing else in sports I could do that is comparable
