He's not only on fire offensively, but stats say he's also responsible on D...Very good news!!

The future sure looks good in MTL.

I'd like to see Samsonov traded and Kostitsyn given his spot. Feel he would bring a lot more consistently every game than Samsonov.

Truthfully, even if Samsonov is traded and no roster player (forward anyway) is acquired in return, there still isn't a spot for Kostitsyn when everyone is healthy.

Higgins - Koivu - Ryder
Latendresse - Plekanec - Kovalev
Perezhogin - Bonk - Johnson
Begin - Lapierre - Streit

Know what though, I'd rather keep Kosti this year with the Bulldogs. He's dominating the team and soon the league and he's like a big brother with Grabovski. Grabov will some day become one of the top 2 center and those 2 guys will have developped an awesome chemistry. Kosti is really starting to learn english and play the N.A. way. Leave him over there this year, trade Samsonov next year along with someone else and bring him on the big team!!

I'm really hoping for a line-up next year that look's like

Higgins-Koivu-Latendresse
Kostitsyn-Grabovsky-Kovalev
Perezhogin-Pleckanek-Johnson
Bégin- Lappierre-Streit/Chipchura

Markov-Komo
Souray-Emelin
Bouillon-Dandenault
O'byrne

Huet
Halak
Price

We cut alot of salary in Bonk, Abby, Samsonov, Ryder and Rivet, something around 13-14 mil, and imo that's the line-up who has the most POTENTIAL one day, young talentend, hard working.....

Sexy line up, just sad to loose Ryder, he's not always great but I still like him. Sad for Rivet aswell, the guy love the team but he's not the greatest...

ya there wasn't alot of family love in that team, but still it's the best line-up possible while still being under the cap
