and yet Oilers fans still get in a tizzy whenever someone suggests a trade for one of their young players. you have the softest team in the league. you need to deal at least one of them if you're ever gonna get any better. what can't Oiler fans (and maybe more importantly their management) understand this?

Surely Oiler fans can admit their own team dives now. A couple years ago they wouldn't hear it.
Don't kid yourself, canucks are on a completely different level when it comes to diving. Sedins do that **** every game and then you have guys like kesler, burrows and bieksa who go down like they've been shot when they aren't even touched.

I think most have a problem with the atrocious proposals for our players.

You know, I legitimately pity the Oilers and their fans at this point. There's no hate. There's no pleasure taken in their misery. I just pity them now.

Such an old, stale narrative.

some are for sure, but you also have your management coming out saying all the young players are untouchable. how do they expect to get any better? by drafting first overall every year? that doesn't seem to be working.

Definetely train-wreck territory.

I'm interested to see how Bryzgalov comes in. That will be really odd.
