Mtl-Edm

To Edm: Lars Eller, Nathan Beaulieu, Zack Fucale To Mtl: Nail Yakupov. Edmonton gets a big center and a good goalie prospect aswell as a promising young defencemen. Montreal gets a you winger with proven chemistry with galchenyuk discuss.

I made a proposal similar to this about a week ago and people ripped me a little bit for it. But I have to say I like this one haha. I would add Nygren or Ellis from Montreal though.

jesus, that's quite the overpayment for an underachieving/unproven player.

Instead of selling Yakupov short, i'd rather wait for him to develop into the superstar inside him.

Montreal isn't bad enough that we need to trade our top center?

This chemistry from a season of junior going on 3 years ago gets played up a lot but isn't worth half the overpayment posted

The Gallys have been teammates for nearly as many games and no red flags with Brendan or Lars

For this package I'd be asking for Hall otherwise we'll keep these 3

Value is fair I think but I don't want to do it from MTL.

If the Suban situation gets worse and Montreal gets in a funk I could see them trading him, maybe around Yakupov + Schultz + 1st/ (Eberle?) but the horse has been beaten pretty badly over that trade scenario.

Lars Eller, Nathan Beaulieu, Zack Fucale To Mtl: Nail Yakupov
Please Leave the Habs out of this.We are not overpaying for a small primidonna winger who is not willing to change his style of play /attitude and is a KHL flight risk
Oilers can go find another dance partner for their underachieving 1st rd pick.

What exactly have Beaulieu and Fucale done?

Stop making stuff up Yak is not a flight risk and you're misinterpreting his comments.

Overpayment for sure. Given Yaks problems i wouldn't risk a trade like this from a Habs POV. We don't need that headache.

Montreal already has the best forward from the 2012 draft, no need overpaying for Yakupov.

The guy who said Montreal should add Nygren or Ellis=HAHAHAHAH

To add a little more to this . Edmonton knows the player they have , do you think management would come and and say he is not getting traded if he was a flight risk ? They would be trying to move him . I say most of his struggles come from a bad system . Also bad goalies . The Oilers young players are getting down ,they play good only to have their goalie let in soft shots from the blueline , losing like that would get anyone down .

Not sure why there are so many Yakupov proposals to the Habs. I don't see the Habs as a team that would pay a premium for him. Fucale and Beaulieu are only prospects, but they are good fits to the Habs' organizational depth chart, I would not consider the OP's proposal from the Habs' POV.

What situation? The one fabricated by the media, just like every other Subban "issue", oh, that one. No. Subban will not be traded, barring a HUGE overpayment. Think Hall + Petry +

Why would an American be a flight risk?
