Actually maintained offensive pressure, managed to maintain the defensive zone except on the rush ... both things missing tonight.

I was excited about this year. I thought we basically dumped a ton of 4th liners and replaced with 2nd-3rd line guys, for the. It's part. Then we brought in Seth Jones, locked down Josi, Weber, Rinne, Horny. Then you realize that maybe, just maybe the model and message really has met it's shelf life.

10 SOG through two periods even with three PPs. We don't have a single line clicking in the offensive end and the PP that scored in three consecutive games vanished between Denver and Winnipeg. For all of the Hutton this, Hutton that ranting the team's offense, play along the boards, special teams, dot dominance, forecheck, etc are all MIA.

Very slim odds that the team comes back to win this but they need to come out in the third and play a solid period in all areas. Take a step in the right direction to build upon for Tuesday.

I blame the current Perds funk on the male members of the 'Energy Team' and Cumberland River water.

Munch needs to come over to the Bridge Saturday night and give a pep talk.

We have totally stunk offensively in the last 2 games which is why it looks much worse. At least against the jets we were getting chances we have been spending all our time in the defensive zone except for the PP's we've had.

I'm in the map that our system and message from the same voice has gone stale and we need a new coach. I like coach Trotz, and don't bash him too much. However, I'm fed up with the 4 balanced, or hamstrung, lines every night. Then if those don't work he "tries to find a spark" or "is renown for juggling lines" and it drives me crazy. I'd prefer to have toe scoring lines, a possession/two way line (gaustad) and then the clune like 4th line. Not an offensive player, grinder, and tweener on every single line.

And I'll say it again, unless we are conceding this season, we need to get an insurance policy at goalie until Pekka returns

Devils fan here (I'd say I'm coming in peace but I don't think you'll guys will be scared of me if I don't). Anyways, I just wanted to mention that Roman Josi is so underrated. He's a such a good player, I think he's been the Preds best d-man tonight.

Hornqvist with 4 SOG .... that means the rest of the team managed 6 pucks on Brodeur in 40 minutes of play.

Ellis is lucky he's in the NHL period.

Everything is connected in hockey, when you lose confidence in your goalie you stop playing aggressive in all zones. If you're sitting back waiting for something to happen, bad things will. That's where we're at now. We're playing not to make a mistake

Would it be inappropriate to say I want to cut my wrists watching this game?

Zero offensive presence tonight. Less than 20 shot attempts through 49 minutes of play. Can't win a board battle to save their life.

Too bad we don't have an extra day before the next game to bag skate the team. I'm seeing no heart from the team. They look as depressive as the posts here.

Your psychiatric diagnosis doesn't fit the play of the games up until tonight, including the offensive pressure applied in Winnipeg.

I'm sorry if you don't agree and I've could be wrong. I've just been on the ice too many times on teams that I've seen it happen too. Have you not?
