I hope he stays up. He's looked really good with Couturier and Read.

He may stay, because its not certain Downie is back in. Downie said he'll know in a few hours.

If Downie plays: They have Newbury as an extra forward, too. The decision likely comes down to whether they want Raffl playing a regular role in the AHL or as a potential scratch with the Flyers since playing a 4th line role is not the most desired purpose for him.

If Downie is out, Raffl is in, if Downie is in Raffl I assume would be out.

Newbury is back with the Phantoms. They sent him down yesterday.

I've never wanted a player to have a hat trick as much I want Couturier to have one tomorrow night. I'll just leave it at that.

After the Couturier vs Zibanajed threads in the offseason a hat trick would be beautiful. But then again Couturier has zero offensive potential.

A hat trick? Pshaw. Couturier is terrible and in every single way inferior to Zibanejad. On top of that, defense isn't really an important skill and any player at all can learn it because it's so easy.

And Couturier isn't even good at defense anyway. I'm shocked we haven't trade him for John Michael Liles yet.

Out of the ashes, a great, glorious Orange & Black Phoenix is beginning to rise again.

Same. What's worse, I'm pretty sure tomorrow night's game starts at 8:00.

Really happy this game starts at 7:30 so I won't miss as much while at class and I should be able to make it home for at least the 3rd.

What's so bad about 7:30 and 8:00 games? I prefer them.

For reasons like this:

If he scores a goal, I hope they play the Terminator music.
