Yeah, Macdonald is a good AHL player but it doesn't convert to being a NHL player. I really don't see him sticking in Boston either. The Harvard boy will probably be playing this year out at Providence.

with all the injuries in boston, macdonald might get a few games here or there. the thing i don't understand is that we have matt herr down in providence, and he's done just about everything to deserve a look, and doesn't get it. instead, they go out and get this kid, who by all accounts hasn't done anything more than herr.

If Boston tries to send him to Providence in the next thirty days, expect him back in San Antonio.
