The local owners did Nashville a favor by saving the franchise from moving. The problem was that none of them were Hockey Men but wanted to do right by the city. As such they have retained and listened to Poile and Trotz. Hopefully they have been educated by now to know they have mediocrity in management and coaching and will make the decisions they need to that are obvious to those of us who know this game. I can't believe that any of the owners have been successful in their business endeavors and will tolerate this much longer. Missing Rinne is a major problem, but this "Predator Hockey" crap of not putting together offensive players to score goals in favor of 2 way players has really grown old.
The past few games have lacked any structure from our guys. That is a coaching issue. Before that we saw lapses and individual errors but not a structural failure.
If it continues, then it appears that Trotz may have lost the room which is reason to replace him. (anyone who acts as though this is the first time I've said that is reason to replace Trotz hasn't paid attention).
We're seeing individual attempts in the offensive end, not a team attack. We're not even seeing the team effort that led to the very ugly goals of the early part of this road trip.
