Am I Missing Something?

So whats with Murray's idea to put kelly on the first line, apparently we need a defensive presence on the first line. So why isn't our Selke nominee on the first line? Fisher always plays hard plays good defense and can actually FINISH, he may be the future captain so why cant he see more ice time than hes used to? Besides with Kelly getting ice time on the first line plus PK minutes he must be getting tired as the last few games we've been blown out it's been because of how many PP goals we've allowed.

Fisher-Spezza-Heatley
Schaefer-Vermette-Alfredsson
Eaves-McAmmond-Neil
Hamel-Kelly-McGrattan

Those look pretty good but I like Fisher with Neil because they don't stop hitting when they're on the ice.

My choice for the LW is Dean McAmmond. This guy has the speed to keep up with Spezza and Heatley. He's also shown he can play with the skilled guys when he played on a line with Iginla back in Calgary. I have no idea why McAmmond gets so little ice time. We need to use him a lot more, especially on an offensive line like Spezza's instead of having Kelly in there for 'defensive presence'.

Fish and Neil play very well together, maybe that's why?

But yeah, he'd look great on the first line as a defensive responsibility.

And he's explosive, skates hard, goes into the corners... he can see the ice as well.

I'd like to see that for a try.

Huh. I don't know how I feel about that! On one hand, I like Fisher where he is, and he was a major bust with extra responsibility early on. On the other hand, I think of Kelly's current role/results, and it sounds like an early Christmas present.

My lines... Do we ever have to upgrade that 4th line though

Maybe get a #3 C and move Kelly down to replace Hamel?

Fisher works hard and plays well defensively but his finish isn't very good when you consider how many chances he gets. He's better than Kelly though.
