I think the problem was that with Koharski haming up the penalty shot call for the cameras, he missed the fact that the puck went in the net the first time.
You are probably right! I was there also, and it was a little weird. It seemed the puck had already gone in, yet a penalty shot was indicated, and all kinds of discussion ensued before Hejduk finally came down the ice. I think X8oD is right, since the goalie got pushed into the goal as well as the puck, it wouldn't have counted anyway.
Damn Hejduk and his fabulous shot(s). Tampa keeps ending up on the wrong end of Sportscenter Top 10 plays.

Wouldn't think a Red Wings fan would be so happy about the Avs winning.
goal cant by scored by a player crashing into a goalie, and shoving the goalie and the puck, across the goalline.
it doesnt matter if he was pushed, tripped or anything. If the result of the goal is from the player pushing or hitting the goalie, and thus dislodging or forcing the puck, the goal isnt counted.
ive seen this called quite a few times
Not saying you're wrong, but I seem to recall Lindros doing that sometimes when he was younger. If the goalie saved the puck, that was ok -- he'd just push the goalie in with the puck. Can't recall if a goal actually came from him doing that or not, though. Just remember him trying it, at least.
