Sounds like Pat LaFontaine is being introduced as BUF's new president of hockey operations this morning.

Bit ironic that Nolan is back with Buffalo

Good to see Patty L back in the game-- NYI screwed him over

I was hoping the Oilers would do the same thing. Get rid of the president, GM, Head coach and all coaching staff.

What's so funny about Ted Nolan? Didn't he win the Jack Adams (quite) a while ago? Honest question. I don't know much about him.

They just did what we did. Hired a former player to run the team.

No, they showed there is accountability in the organization. The guys paid to build and make the team perform weren't doing their job and they were moved out for other people.

I only wish the Oilers had the same kind of mentality. But it seems like for Katz, buying the team was more a means to pal around with the boys on the bus.

Fire everyone after you draft Ekblad.

Eakins is the ticket to Ekblad.

Regeir is a good trader GM, he should probably be hired on here.

Though I've been surprised with MacT's pro scouting so far....aside from Labarbera....you'd have to think we're still in the market for Toby Peterson right now.

I don't want anyone who signs Ville Leino to that kind of a contract, sorry.

Then again, isn't anything better than Lowe?

The West is *73-29-11 against the East (before tonight).

I believe 9 of those loses are from the Oilers.

I've thrown his name around on these boards before as a guy the Oilers should bring in as GM.

This guy and Jim Nil were two of the guys I was hoping the Oilers would talk to before MacT was introduced as GM.

Shocking that Giguere's .970% and Varlamov's .936% aren't holding up.
