My man Sven deserves a call-up. Hell, a lot of Bulldogs deserve to play over some of the guys up in the NHL.

Going into the 3rd tied 1-1.

Now 2-1 Rochester. Shots are 12-1 for Rochester. Yup, definitely Montreal's farm team.

Nygren really needs to learn to take less penalties.

Likely one of the reasons he's in the AHL playing 50 minutes a night adapting to NA hockey instead of in Montreal sitting in the press box even though he's clearly our most ready prospect.

I believe their stats update right away, so he seems to average 1 penalty a game, which isn't too bad. Especially considering he had 3 minors tonight.... Today... This morning ?

Yeah, I'm not concerned as it's a common problem faced by guys adjusting to NA ice, but the sooner he can get that out of his system, the sooner he can be on our bottom pairing.

Extremely stoked when we picked him. Impressed in the WJC's with Switzerland and just took it to another level with Rouyn-Noranda. I was more terrified as a Halifax fan with Andrighetto having the puck than Kucherov.

He's stocky and that helps his puck possession numbers which leads me to believe he can find success at the NHL level. Great poise with the puck, great vision, awesome hands and a nice plethora of shots from a slapper, snapper and wrist shot. I see no reason why if we continue to dry up offensively that he could've come in as a PP specialist to help us out further in the season.

Like it wasnt possible to have a coach that actually can really coach... and make us win games. How are we gonna build confidence with our prospect if they need to be special to succeed... damn it. Fire your friend bergevin... ya he wont do it.

Based on the logic that St-Pierre, Leblanc, Holland, Dumont and Blunden have already been called up; yes Andrighetto deserves to be call up. But, I believe that it would be better for his development if he does a complete year in the AHL.

And your opinion is based on what again? You don't like the lines he's using?

Was also a big fan of his for quite some time now. Really happy he's in our organization. I will believe he has a really great chance at making it.

Lefebvre is still showing that he is the worst coach in the AHL... Enough already he is ruining the young guys!

How is he "runining the young guys"?

The ones called up come up and look good...Gallagher Bournival Tinordi Beaulieu LeBlanc and Pateryn last year.

AHL teams are more about developping players tahn wins and losses.

no not overly. I've noticed him trying to more things in the offensive zone, pinching in and trying to set up plays. Perhaps they told him to work on that aspect of his game, although from what i've seen in Hamilton he isn't overly physical to begin with but I am impressed with his play on the PK and think that will be his bread and butter while fighting some and throwing some big time hits but not someone in the mold of say Emelin who I would consider overly phyiscal.

He had a good strech at some point. Too bad he wasn't more consistent.
