Jesus we should of told Brayden and Coburn we might send them to Edmonton game 1 !

Back to back on the road and beat the Pens 2-1,,, fantastic ! Couts could never score a point again, tonight he proved how good defensively he is, wow , wow.

Now please, please win on Friday, makes my life so much easier !

I have been noticing that for the past few games. They really worked on that a lot.

Only negative, there was absolutely zero reason for Rosehill to dress this game. They had Letang out with their fourth line and were dominating when ours was out !

Bylsma is absolutely terrible at line matching.

Nhl 14's ai could out match him

Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen a coach match lines with home-ice advantage as badly as Bylsma. Berube deserves some of the credit, but Bylsma deserves more considering he had home-ice advantage here.

From what I understand this happens all the time. Levi did it too. Byslma doesn't believe in line match or somet such nonsense. Drives Pens fans crazy. I love it.

It was also awesome to see how relatively fresh they were in the third period of a back to back. The puck pursuit was as good as it was in period one of last night's game.

It's also important to remember that the Pens came into this game rested while the Flyers were tired from the night before.

Tonight...

Fenwick for % relative 5 on 5:
Read: +31
Downie: +27
Couturier: +24

Fenwick for % relative 5 on 5:
Crosby: -4
Kunitz: -2.5
Dupois: -5

They played about 10-12 minutes vs each other 5 on 5.

Case closed. Couts line = awesome.

If we're going to play a shutdown line, putting Couturier and Read together on it is very smart.

Not taking anything away from Chief, but Disco Dan used to be outcoached by Lavi. So, yeah.

In addition to Lecavalier's recent faceoff numbers...

Quote:
Adam Hall was 7-for-8 on faceoffs (88%). He has lost just three faceoffs in the last four games, going a total of 21-for-24 (87.5 %)

Bylsma is one of the worst adjusting coaches in the NHL.

Blows my mind that we got him on waivers. Never find myself having a problem with him (which is a very good thing) and he's a face-off ace.

Lavi's on the bench with him as well....

I'm not worried though they were a goal short of winning the whole thing with Ron Wilson behind the bench the last time.

I don't even care for the Olympics or international competition, but the ego and/or entitlement of some Canadian fans annoys me.
