Habs Stat That's Cool

We've lost a total of 13 games. Only 4 of those games were by a margin more then 1pt.(5 were OTL) The rest we've played we've won. That means only 4 teams in the NHL have beaten us by more then 1 goal. Buffalo, Florida, Philidelphia and I forget the last one.

*coughs* Toronto *coughs*

And, actually, there are 5 teams, as Carolina did it as well.

Yes, one of the greatest things about the 06-07 habs is they are close in every single game regardless of opponent. This should be a plus if we can keep this up come playoff time.

Exactly. And even though up until now we hadn't had very many winning streaks, what's more important is we haven't had any losing streaks.(Except for 2 games one time). I think that having been said, the habs have a better chance then most teams with the playoffs. We're probably one of the most consistent teams in the NHL this season. We don't give up losses frequently and most of them are either in OT/SO/1 goal difference.

This is the kind of thing you want going into the playoffs. TSN's power rankings should have the habs 3-4th in the league at lowest.

That's a bit of a tough one. We definitely deserve to be up there, but so do...
Anaheim
Buffalo
Nashville
San Jose
And perhaps Atlanta as well.

Personally I'd put us #5 after those first 4 teams, but I think it's all really close except that Anaheim needs to be in the #1 spot.
