You know those Citi rewards program commercials with that old guy with an accent getting reward points for flying on planes and stuff, with his little boy assistant Victor counting the points....

Does anyone else think the old guy looks like an older fatter Kovalev??? Like Kovalev in like thirty years.

Maybe they just still love Alexei Kovalev a lot. Who knows? But that is pretty damn funny

.

that's funny. There was a thread on the Islanders page recently about this very activity, going to another teams arena and wearign your colors while rooting for another team against the Islanders.

I've rooted for the Habs against the Islanders, but unfortunately didn't have my Jersey at the time.

Great Pic

I never wore my Rangers jersey to a game at the Colisseum, but that doesn't mean the Islander-hater inside me wasn't trying to come out. I went to a few Isles games last year, and every time the other team scored I couldn't help but yell, "Yes!" and pump my fist a bit, maybe even jump out of my seat a tad but then catching myself and sitting back down. Got a lot of dirty looks from the Islander faithful.

No way, I met his dad and thats not him. I was lucky one day and ran into him and his dad in NYC during the offseason where his dad was signing the book that he wrote about Kovy. It is one of my favorite hockey items that book with both Kovalev and his dads auto on it, good stuff.
