NorthEast standing

1- Buffalo GP 34 / PTS 52 (first in the East)

2- Montreal GP 34 / PTS 47 (2nd in the East in points)

3- Toronto GP 36 / PTS 37 (currently out of playoffs)

4- Boston GP 32 / PTS 36 (currently out of playoffs)

5- Ottawa GP 36 /PTS 35 (currently out of playoffs)

We have 2 games in hands, over 10 pts more than both Ott and Toronto, the Sens just lost their #1 center for about the same time we lost Higgins and we are just starting to play our best hockey... Could we hope for a better first half of season??

Well, I predicted that the sabres, habs, and sens would make the playoffs out of our division.

So far, the sabres and habs have showed that they are for real... still a long ways to go though.

We'll see if the sens can rally around this injury and start to play a little better. Its funny how key injuries sometimes bring the best out of other players.

As much as I hate the Leafs, Sens and Bruins, I don't like the idea of having them out of the playoffs, especially the Leafs.

I really prefer having northeast teams thans the Hurricanes or the Trashers in the playoff because of the rivalries. I may be crazy, but I'd prefer a Habs-Leafs matchup than a Habs-Trashers serie.
