Good article...nice to read about our prospects from a knowledgable source like Timmins.

Sounds like Danis should be trade bait at the deadline. As we have a bunch of netminders.

Great read!

I forget, when does the reranking of our top 20 prospects usually happens?

I've been here for over 3 years, but I honestly forget. Oh how time flies by!

Where I, personally, don't want to see Danis playing for another team I fully expect that he will use his unrestricted free agent status at the end of this season to pursue becoming backup elsewhere in the NHL because there's about half a dozen teams or more who can use someone with his experience and talent. He has expressed his disappointment with not getting to play for the Habs this season and I feel bad for him for sure because I really thought he was ready to step up but I hope he'll find something that's a better fit for him because apparently it's not in Montréal.

Obviously the Canadiens have more than enough talent in nets to carry the team for a long time but everyone has to grow up and move on sometime and I believe we're watching Danis' last season with the Bulldogs and in the Canadiens organisation. I might be the only one but I'll be sad to see him go.

Sounded like Milroy may end up being another Ryder. Both had good junior careers and did nothing in the pros until they turned 23.

Is it true that with so much depth the waiver wire wont be much of a problem as once one is picked up by another team the others are safe I presume?
