At least, it's worst in Quebec city with Labôme ! Haha ! How can people vote for him ! By the way, here in Rimouski, there wasn't any opposition against the mayor, it's sad.

Should've went in astronomy.

And yeah, I know Labaume is loved by our citizens, although I don't particularly like him, personnally.

Questionné sur la déclaration du nouveau maire de Montréal à l'effet qu'il devrait «se calmer», Régis Labeaume a aussi répliqué du tac au tac. «Le power trip commence de bonne heure!»

Hahahahah this is awesome.

Hey. Anyone with like a knowledge of the law here? It was in regards to my bike accident recently. I was hit by a pick up truck and only recently got the driver's info. Called him today to have him file a claim with his insurance for damages to my bike and some travel costs.

But it turns out he was driving a city vehicle (St-Henri) which according to him had no insurance. Now... I have no idea what the next step for something like this would be. Do I contact the city? There was considerable damage to my bike and my ankle was broken... I've been in a cast for like 6 weeks now. Is now the time to get a lawyer on board?

Very confused...

Projet without Bergeron...

Can't believe l'Equipe Dauphin went five for five here in Lachine. Projet had so many amazing ideas to completely rejuvinate the city.

Every (city) vehicle has insurance. It's illegal to drive without one.

Lawyers can be very expensive. If he was 100% in the wrong, then you should be able to be awarded claims for the lawyer, the damages and personal damages (basically, money to make you happy/loss wages depending on whether you work, or not)

If the broken ankle (aside from the pain), and you can afford a new bike, or to have yours fixed, then it might be better for your time, money and sanity to not go to court, but rather report the individual. I imagine a case like this against the city would take a long ass time.

However, I'd get actual legal advice and not take it from a noob on hf.

*in her 80's*

Old people behind the wheel are more dangerous than Matt Cooke.

That can vary. My great-grandmother was pushing towards her 90s and she drove stick until the day she passed away... not behind a car, that is.

I'm sure there's an off button on your tv. Try that (or SSRIs).

Picking up an item at Canada Post warehouse?

Sorry for the OT but has anyone here ever picked up an item at a Canada Post warehouse with a identity card? Can we even do this? And where is the Canada Post warehouse in Montreal?

Thanks.

Is it really a warehouse? Usually, you pick up your item at the post office close to you house. The address is on the paper they leave at your place if you're not there when delivery guy pass by

I was at my house and they never attempted a delivery so I guess it must be at one of their warehouses. I know some couriers allow you to go at the warehouse and pick up your item with an ID but I don't know if it's the case with Canada Post.

CP will send your parcel to your closest post office in the neighbourhood. If they haven't attempted a delivery it will have to wait for Monday.
