The most lopsided loss in franchise history was an 8-0 drubbing at Philadelphia January 11, 1999.

The most lopsided loss at home was... oh, God, it's too painful to remember, because I was actually there. March 12, 2002, a 5-0 smackdown at the hands of the Vancouver Canucks. The next day, captain Tom Fitzgerald was traded to Chicago, and a few days later Cliff Ronning was traded to the Kings.

We win tonight. 6-4 very similar to Colorado.

I remember that because I was young and didn't understand that a team could trade its captain

I actually think we shake it off tonight and win 4-2 in regulation. Go Perds!

Things keep getting worse as Forsberg is out with an upper body injury and Hellberg is hurt in Milwaukee so we can't even call another goalie up.

Welp, at least we've gone a minute without giving up a goal, so that's good.

As usual we get chances and can't score. Clune with a good fight.

Cullen Scores. That was Jones and Smith who made that play work and Cullen gets the rebound. Starting off good.

We need more players like Smith who aren't afraid to make a skilled move to generate a scoring chance. Great play.

Still need more zone time and need to clean up passing. Lots of passes off the mark.

Dear Trotz: Do NOT tell them to "clamp down defensively."

That is 2 goals by the Spaling Cullen Smith line. Only way we score is off backup goalies but I'll take it
