Yo, we can't listen to some guy named Rene. That's like thinking someone named Jody or Shelley can fight.

Quoted for the truth, man. Quoted for the truth.

The Islanders, man. How could we lose to freakin' Hawaiians?

Some of the stuff in this thread is downright ridiculous, but a good number of these Islanders suck, played to their level blah blah blah posts have been sarcastic and as much making fun of the original idea that we could even play down to their level as anything else. Of course the fact that Islander fans keep coming here and posting the same stuff over and over and over hasn't helped anything.
And now I'll seriously "quote for truth."

I know sarcasm on the Internet can be hard to decipher at times, as a recent 15-minute ban of mine can attest to, but really!

Don't they have humor in Hawaii?

Well, actually now that I think of it... Two nights ago we were mad about Hasek saying you can't lose twice to the Jackets. And now we're doing the Hasek thing ourself about Islanders. Or at least before the sarcasm came along.

Chill out, eat loads of christmas food and relax

Yeah, we have no right to look down on other teams. The only thing we can say is that the Jackets weren't playing to their potential.

The Jackets didn't play to anyone's potential last night.

What sports analyst said that the jackets would revert to their poor playing after about 15 games. He was correct. These guys just can't play as a team.

Dude.....you really need to step back from the edge

I'm glad your not an Isles fan, because with that kind of attitude you'd have jumped about 10 years ago!

I think you need to look past the oddball management decisions of the Isles and look at the hockey team that they ice each night.....it's not as bad at you think....there are much worse teams in the league right now, like say, the New York Rangers or Philadelphia Flyers

The comments made by a majority of Blue Jacket fans are eerily similar to those made of frustrated Islander fans as the team blew 10+ 2 goal leads last year. The Isles were so fragile last year, that no lead was safe.....if the other team scored a goal, no matter the score, the Isles would pack it in and lose.

Give Hitch his chance....I'm sure he'll help turn you guys around.

Atleast Milbury isnt our gm while you all still have Doug Maclean!

Make the playoffs already!

The score should've been 8 to nothing, but the Isles were in the XMAS spirit and downplayed to the Jackets.

This game (before the Christmas holiday) is reminiscent to the 5-0 loss to the Wild before the 10 day layoff. Norrena had it right: this team "needs to grow up."

I hope Hitch had them out on the ice this morning for a nice long practice.

How can a team with so much talent come up that flat? A poor performance by all and to all a good night. MERRY CHRISTMAS
