Ben Scrivens left the ice first and is projected to start against the New York Rangers.

Jones will have to wait. Sutter said on Friday he wanted to get Jones into a game. Quick is out 4-6 weeks. Scrivens can't play every game.

Isn't Scrivens the backup they got from Toronto for Bernier?

All depends on conditioning and if we can keep the energy up for another 60. Expect a close game. Going with 3-2 Rangers.

Winning tonight would be huge and show the validity of this recent streak imo.

One thing I noticed yesterday is that our centers were often very low in the defensive zone, many times lower than the defensemen. Interested to see if this continues tonight.

I'm calling a borderline dirty hit by Brown tonight.

On the ice this morning for #NYR: Nash, Mashinter, Del Zotto and Talbot. So same lineup tonight with DZ out, Falk in but Lundqvist in net.

AV said he liked Falk's game last night, looks like Del Zotto is the new odd man out.

To me - and not to go OT - makes it easier to trade Del Zotto. Not easier that teams are calling the Rangers up, but easy to let go. Time to move on and get something out of him that's beneficial for both parties.

Eh, Falk isn't just a tool for MDZ's progression. He, like any player, should keep playing if he gets a chance and does well. He did well last night. He'll likely falter sooner rather than later and MDZ will get another crack at it.

Watching Kreider fly sown that left side last night and watching the Hab's Dmen looking around to see just where he was...sure reminded me of the presence that Lindros provided when he broke into this league . That hit on Emelin gets shown in every team we play video room around the league and word travels fast when somebody mentions pure raw power . Defensemen tend to take notice of that . I wonder when his first scrap will happen ? God...we have finally found our true power forward...Thank You !!! Rangers 4 Kings 3 SO . Kreider pots 2 and MDZ 2 points plus we have 3 scraps in the game .

Gonna be hard for MDZ to get two points from the press box.
