The Pens who are leading the metropolitan division would be in 10th place in the Western conference!!

Indeed sloppy hockey in the East

Absolutely nobody in the east scares me this year. Except the habs. They're scaring me, all right.

It's impressive, the Habs aren't impressing me in any way except goaltending but I still think we could beat anyone in the east in the playoffs (with luck of course). Every team except maybe Boston is horribly flawed.

So the Sens are getting run out of the building, Boroweiski elbows Boll in the Kisser and the SNET Sens announcers are complaining that he shouldn't be penalized for the cheap hit to the face? Homer much? Potvin and what's his face can shut it.

Detroit just lost 3 straight games in SO, plus 2 OTL before, for 5 straight game lost in overtime. Kinda weird, no? At least we're not the worst in the shootouts

The Leafs are so desperate for results now they're trading their picks away and overpaying 3rd liners like Clarkson.
No one is denying Grabo is a more offensively talented player than Bozak, but Bozak does the little things that make him FAR more valuable to the Leafs considering they already have offensive minded players around him. Leafs have seen it this year when he's been out.

Lol, no he doesn't. Bozak is ****ing awful. He's a 3rd line C at best. Oh, and he wins faceoffs. Grabo was able to play against teams top lines and still put up respectable totals. Bozak can't come close to doing what grabo does with similar linemates.

What do YOU know about a team you don't even follow?

Grabo couldn't buy into the system here, that's bye bye for him.

As horrible as we've been in November, we're still in a playoff spot. So, yeah, the East is terrible.

Some of us actually watch other teams play. Crazy, right?

You act like I care. I'm glad toronto gave up on Grabovski and lost their top even strength center for nothing. I'm also ecstatic they tied up so much cap in an overhyped faceoff winner. It's one of the things that I think about while trying to sleep at night. No tears, only dreams now.

Meh. Bruins aren't exactly the greatest regular season team ,but once they get to the playoffs they're tough as hell. Kind of like LA. Once Malkin wakes up, Pens will be top of their division for good, just like the usual. Rangers had a rough start (one could argue that all those away games put them on a disadvantage), but they're really heating up. Considering it's only been 20 games and we're already starting to see some teams slow down like the Avs & Sharks, I wouldn't crown the West so easily.

Okay
Torches? 13 points with a -3 in 18 career games vs Habs...

I guess by Bozak standards that's torch.

Halak pulled again. 3 goals on 6 shots.

Ovechkin with 2 goals in the first.

It's amazing Halak has worse stats than Miller and their win/loss records are pretty much reversed.

Would Price have a loss this season plyaing like he has, but for St. Louis? Might not, at worst 1 or 2.

Agreed, in the west you have Chicago and a bunch of choke artists once the playoffs roll around.

The Sens went 1 for 6 on the PP today and Karlsson had 11:03 of PP time and 33:34 TOI..

Anyone have any idea what percentage Karlsson at to these days? Is he in the 70's yet?

Only a matter of time before Elliott gets a run of starts and takes over or they trade for a goalie (hopefully they go with the former). He already has 4 appearances this month out of the possible 9.

Like what? Win faceoffs?

Whoops, Grabovski is at 53.7% this year and Bozak is at 46.2%

The Leafs overreacted because of a half season and they gave up the better player.

Leafs picked up Clarkson at $5.25M, and kept Bozak to make sure to get Kessel which they did. Grabovski and his $5.5M contract was dropped to fit it all in. Why is this never understood.

Dallas have a great core in place. Fast forward 2 seasons + 1 or 2 supporting defencemen and they're ready to go.
