Watch out for the Bruins. They've surpassed the Senators and Leafs and could spell trouble down the road.

They are a good team no doubt but were good too and havn't had bad streaks all year...if we continue like that we shouldn't have any problems.

I heard a comment last night on CJAD about how much transition that team went through during the off-season and it's little suprise if they struggled somewhat out of the blocks. They mentioned something like 17 new players, new coaches, etc. They seem to be turning things around now though.

As for trouble down the road, I assume you are talking about the rest of the regular season. Obviously, in the playoffs, we will find a way to beat them again

For some reason it seems the hockey Gods want it that way

I haven't read any of this thread so I don't know if it's been discussed (most likely has) but after last nights game I'd have to say that is THE worst reffing job I've seen in a LONG time. Not only penalties but a few offsides that should've been called against both teams as well as overall crappyness. Kovalev talks and he gets unsportsmanlike....Murray throws a fit and bangs a stick around and he's fine

yeah the reffing was really bad, but we seldom get out coached but last night we got out coached and out worked.

The Habs always seem to lose the ********* teams in the league. It's like a bad dream.

what is your definition of a crap team?

I can see the bruins grabbing one of the playoff seeds.

Their goaltending was fairly inconsistent early on with toivenen probably not developing as quickly as they anticipated but thomas seems to have caught fire. They have a good PP and the PK seems to be gradually improving (alot of it has to do with the goaltending coming around IMO)

I don't really see them as a threat to be honest. They were bad all last year and then for a chunk of this year. I don't see their recent success as the new norm, but rather just a hot streak.

A threat for making the post season or a threat for winning the cup?

I just want to make it clear that I can see the bruins grabbing a lower seed in the playoffs but by no means do I believe that they are a cup threat.

Bad last year does not mean bad this year.

Just ask the Canes and Oilers fans about that.

Bruins are a playoff team this year. Make no mistake about it.
