Pretty hard to argue against that.

Hopefully I'll be able to see all six games and get a better feel for who will likely be in or out.

For those who missed Hudon's first star performance in the Subway Super Series:

You wanna know who did great tonight with some very interesting hustling and all-around play in the offensive zone?

Anthony Mantha.

He was drafted before our pick. Why is this even an issue?

Bunch of people wanted no part of him anyways. Reading Grant it all indicated like the Habs had no interest in picking him either, especially if given the choice between McCarron and Mantha.

I didn't want Mantha because it was scary how bad he was in the corners last season, there's was too much talent around to take a flyer on him. That's why he dropped in the draft. Good for him that he rectified it though, he looked very good last night.

No. But it's nice that he is having a great year and is even on the radar to the extent of playing in the Subway series, at least. Maybe he can build on this for next year.

No **** Chicago's smaller players are better than the habs smaller players... That wasn't my point. What I was saying is that it doesn't matter if you have 2, 3 or 4 small guys on the team... as long as they contribute something and are insulated with bigger bodies.

Chicago proved that last season. They were one of the smaller teams in the league, but had big bodies where it counted and their smaller guys like Shaw and Kane were integral in their cup run

Hudon looks real good when he plays with higher skilled players. That tells me his skill should translate well to the pros.

Hopefully he can stay healthy and make it to the WJHC's this year.

Thats not entirely true... Last year he played with danault and a grinder and still looked good. He's just so versatile. Last year, his job was to shut down Yakupov and he did it quite successfully and now he is in a more offensive role and still delivers.

I know he's not one of our prospect, but i thought that Sam Morin looked bad in yesterday's game. I'm not saying this because he got exposed for the second goal, but he looked bad all game.

Good for London even though he didn't look too out of place in the bigs. Risto was better.

Knights’ McCarron finds net and his game

http://www.lfpress.com/2013/11/18/kn...t-and-his-game

2 goals the other night to break his slump. I like his attitude, and the fact that he knows he needs to go to the net, and win battles along the boards.

Enjoy

I've just checked Tim Bozon's new team: Kootenay Ice. Wow there's an undrafted player out there (ohh he's just turned 18): Sam Reinhart. Can the Habs draft him this summer ?? His stats are sick : 10Goals 28 Assists (38pts) in 24 games...Is he 1st round material???

I really like Bozon despite his slow start. Sons of NHL hockey player know usually how to reach the NHL on their own...I don't know but they seem more mentally prepared.

He's expected to go in top 10 (if not top 5).

So this means that having prospects like Collberg, Lehkonen and Hudon, with prospects like McCarron, Crisp and De la Rose to make room and get them the puck, is a great thing? IMO it's these prospects and those in Hamilton that will win the Habs next Stanley Cup, along with the Egg line, Price, Subban and Markov.

Markov will hopefully be here teaching Beaulieu the finer points of winning and quarterbacking the PP. Another point I would like to make is the Habs drafting Alexis Vanier & Carl Neill for the future defence, they would make a great 3rd pairing while apprenticing on the Hab blueline.

Welcome to the board

Reinhart and Ekblad will be the top 2 pick.
