Brayden Schenn
Luke Schenn
PHI 2014 1st

Dimitri Kulikov
FLA 2014 1st

Flyers move Laughton up to replace Schenn and FLA gets younger and dependent upon how the Flyers fare the rest of the year... they could still get a top 10 pick. Flyers get an updated pick in which the draft is in their building.

Flame away.

The first problem with your reasoning is that the Flyers cannot call up Laughton, except for an emergency injury recall, until the end of his junior season.

While we're at it, take out their first, and the Schenns, and add in Simmonds.

How are the Schenn bro's?? At first glance, I liked this trade but the more I think about it the more I realize I know nothing about them. I hear a lot of rumors for Simmonds but again, I don't know much about these players.

That is not a good deal for the Flyers. Also, I'm pretty sure we can't call up Laughton until next season. With the way we are playing right now, we shouldn't be making any moves. Brayden has been phenomenal for the past 5 or 6 games. Luke has been much better since being a healthy scratch last week as well. Kulikov has been pretty disappointing since that one season a couple of years ago. I think he can still be a #1 defenseman, but I wouldn't trade Brayden for him.

Gudbranson's not going anywhere. How about this instead:

B.Schenn
L.Schenn
Meszaros

for

Kulikov
Matthias
FL 2014 1st
Robak

wat?

are you serious? you get the two best defensemen, a high pick for an older version of a "raw" talent that yet have to pan out and a good forward?

i dont know what to say

i wouldn't mind kulikov for simmonds, but that proposal is like saying kulikov matthias for giroux

The Schenn brothers are losers. That's why you want them gone.

Terrible trade for the Panthers..

First, the Panthers already have an over abundance of young talent at center: 2 potential number 1 centers in Barkov and Bjugstad, a potential no. 2 in Trochek, a no.2/3 tweener in Shore and a solid no. 3 in Matthias. Accordingly Brayden Schenn really does not fill a major need and even lowly Panther fans are aware that his stock appears to be somewhat in decline.

Second, Luke Schenn is a salary dump at this point.

Thus, neither piece is of interest.

I'm pretty sure schenn's been playing LW with giroux, lecavalier, and couturier at center?
I've always been a huge fan of schenn's even when he was a prospect with the kings, id love to get him. although i have no interest in luke.
brayden schenn for kulikov+

IMO I dont think any team that thinks they are going to be a bottom dweller are going to give up the chance to draft McDavid in 2014. So I doubt FLA does that but I could see Kulikov/Fleischmann being moved to PHI.

FLA
Kulikov
Fleischmann

PHI
B. Schenn
L. Schenn (being that that OP wanted both)
N. Cousins and/or Rinaldo
2nd

Is this close at all? Dont really follow FLA or PHI.

The Flyers are winning. A lot.

Why trade their leading scorer?

It's going to be awfully hard to draft McDavid in 2014, considering he's in the 2015 draft class. If you meant Ekblad, that I can understand, but different story altogether, there.

Well I will consider this proposal half a success since I didn't get slammed. haha

Its definitely an oversight on my part with the fact we cannot bring up Laughton. As for those who feel we shouldn't be trading our best forward right now, I kinda felt it would be a good sell high since we may not be in the same ballpark for negotiations on salary.

Been playing mostly wing with Vinny and Simmer on the 2nd line, that's what make Schenn have even more value at the moment.
