As I'm in charge of the GDT on our end, you know who is starting tomorrow? I have Mazanec starting in my GDT.

With the way Mazanec has played, I'd venture a guess that he's indeed the starting goalie tomorrow night unless he gets hurt or something like that

I'll be up there tonight. With the new schedule, I get to see more preds games as Detroit, Ottawa and Buffalo are short drives away.

Go Perds; really have to keep the pedal to the metal here to even keep pace. Was hoping OTT would drop the Wild last night; didn't happen.

Good luck guys! Hope for a good game

Just a question I hear the Rob Ford thing is global news, how much is the whole situation being covered down there?

Man, if we could somehow come out of here with 2 points tonight it would be huge-

Would put us at 11-9-2 with 6 of the next 7 at home, with the only road game during that stretch being a winnable game at Columbus……

Everything is prefaced with, "crack-smoking mayor..."

And the Daily Show's been hilarious with the coverage they're giving the situation.

Typical conversation:

- "Hey, did you hear about that Rob Ford guy?
- "Who?"
- "That mayor or whatever in Toronto or somewhere in Canada that got busted for smoking crack."
- "Ohhh (laughter) yeah. That's hilarious."

Normal news sites, not as much, but places like Deadspin.com that are humor-related have been all over it.

And Bernier starting; may not even watch, guy cannot lose against us.

Reminds me of that Jon Stewart clip where Stewart says "Toronto mayor Rob Ford, or as he is now referred to..." and it pans to an NBC news anchor saying "The crack-smoking mayor of Toronto"

Found it. All swears are bleeped and censored:

Best part is that this situation is only the highlight of the constant mishaps and publicly humiliating stunts by Rob Ford.

My personal favourites:

At 1:05 "I just need to go fight him by myself im my ****ing underwear"

Well since the Leafs beat us 4-0 last month it's time for some payback, even if I do like them too. Maybe give them an OT point or something.
