Big 2nd half to the game for the Flyers. They had an awful first, but put it together nicely. I got another full spread of points for the prediction .

Old man Snider looked really pissed at the end there, must be past his bed time or something.

What I liked tonight... Couts' line, Gus and Hartnell's face after he scored ("What?").

Those 5 on 3s sucked big time though

I finally guessed the correct outcome and score of a game. I am in shock. Would have been in disbelief if Vinny actually scored first.

Good: Couturier's line, Coburn & Timonen, Emery.

Bad: Discipline.

Ugly: 2nd chance to get back to 0.500 on Saturday... haven't had a very good record over the past two years given this opportunity...

Downie - Couturier - Read is a line I want to see together for years to come. Please get Downie under contract.

I think Hall was out there to take faceoffs and defend.

I'd add the 4-minute PK during Hartnell's penalty.

And another game without allowing an even-strength goal.

Berube destroyed a Laviolette machine between periods.

When that happens, the Flyers will get a ton of money from me in gear.

Nice to see Read finally get a few goals, I am really starting to like that line. Couts was our best player tonight and strong on his skates

I'll shake hands with me! Got home in time to see the end.

The Couts line has been doing all the right things to rack up points for a long time...a night like tonight was inevitable.

Couts is only 20. He has five years to grow towards his prime as well.

Downie will likely cement a top 6 spot at some point, and Reader's always a candidate depending on any rough patches the offense goes through.

But of course if it aint broke..

All the pieces fit right now. Good to see. I believe they haven't surrendered an even strength goal in over two games now as well.

It wasn't as smooth of a win as I would have liked, but still a pretty solid win.
