Can we vote to kick Matt Cooke out of the NHL?

What a jack ass.

Tim Jackman traded for a 6th rounder to the Ducks.

Lashoff contracted flu half way through the Red wings game... pretty weird leaving a game with flu, just as you think he would have known beforehand. (ofc he knew, but how bad etc.)

Same thing happened to Travis Moen on the Canadiens a couple of weeks ago. Apparently, coach Therrien called his number for a shift but he wasn't on the bench anymore.

Rask just completely destroyed his stick after losing in the shootout. Still hotheaded I guess

Devils Kings are 1-1 right now.

Shots after two periods were 27-5 Kings. The Devils had 5 (five!) shots after two periods

Devils win in OT. 15 total shots. Rope-a-dope hockey at its "best".

Jagr ties Lemieux in career goals at 690 with about 500 more games played. He also ties Howe for most GWG. Still playing pretty good at his age.

Anyone who's ever gone into an important game with flu like symptoms finds these commercials hilarious on a whole different level.

Yeah that sucks for them, but they all legitimately came from the fact that they can't keep up. The high stick was the only relatively weak call, but a high stick nonetheless.

Washington already down 3-0 in the first to the Habs, Briere scored the 3rd goal so that should give you a sense of what's going on.

So it seems those Pens play-by-play guys are so <insert your favourite insult> they don't even know who their starter is. I'm just watching the highlights from tonight's game, and in the early stage of the game they were giving Fleury credit for saves Zatkoff made

Honest mistake and a verbal stumble? Maybe. Give them the benefit of a doubt? Nope

The Blue Jackets lost 6-2 to the Canucks. If I saw it correctly, Bob let in a Bryz-like goal where he tried to catch the puck with his glove across his body. Poor Bob's struggling this year, huh?

I saw that too and when I saw Zatkoff was in net later in the game I thought Fleury got hurt. Had to watch the highlights again to realize it was just a mistake.

Sounds like it.

I've always thought Bobrovsky was the most athletically talented goalie I've ever seen, but he's not a big goalie and he isn't well off with the technical aspect of his game. So I've always wondered how effective he'll be in the NHL (I have faith though with him). Considering Mason put up a Calder season and then immediately struggled in the seasons after in Columbus and now Bob put up a Vezina season and is struggling I just wonder how much of it is the goalie in question and how much of it is Columbus. People seem to bank on Columbus improving every off-season but they never seem to improve at all. They just always seem to suck.

He kicked the puck in the net on himself as well.

ovi's a monster, oh and ANH TB game goes 64 minutes and 54 seconds before the first goal is scored. Pretty awesome, TB defensemen with an ironic name keeps the puck out right on the goal line on a diving play then as hes falling forces the puck back into his own net.
