One regulation loss in their last 6 games.

What is this confirmed? Who sits? White? This fool should only play incase of injuries. Why do we need him against the Pens?

I thought he had a good game tonight. I was expecting him to be taken advantage of but he handled the limited minutes in an acceptable manner.

I don't think we could ask for a better backup than Budaj. What a quintessential backup!

What I like about briere, is he doesn't seem sour about moving around...he's alright out there, when you don't expect too much from him.

he's looking good out there right now.

Josh Gorges 2nd star of the game on nhl.com. Didn't see that coming...Ovechkin 1st I don't have a problem with that. I don't know who I would've picked for the habs honestly.

All 4 of Desharnais' points came when I missed the game...the only 3 games I missed this season.

A win vs Pittsburgh tomorrow could possibly put the Habs right in the mix for top spot in the East

Those games make me nervous. MT is always talking about 3 goals to win a game so I worry that whenever they get 3 they start thinking that's the game. But they shut it down when they needed to.

The lines and d combos are nicely balanced but it's still not looking like a contending team. Hope Bournival isn't out long.

Good that DD and Briere scored, both are starting to pick it up

Oh right...unless pacioretty lets bourni suck on his blood or something I'd be surprised if he plays 2morrow. Hopefully it's only a bruise but lots of little bones in the front of the foot so who knows.

Budaj as expected came in and got the job done.

Murray was okay and cleared the net well.

Hopefully bournival is okay but he might miss tomorrow I think.

Against the pens id like to see:

Prust-Plekanec-Gionta
Galch-Eller-Briere
Pac-DD-Gally
Moen-White-Parros

Briere will bring some better skill to that line, I don't think Prust brings enough considering how Eller and Galch are supposed to play. He fits better on the plek line for sure.

Agreed. And I'd like to see Bournival back on either of those first two lines either with Pleks or the kids when he's back. He's like a mini Gallagher. Plays bigger than his size.

I'd really rather not see Bouillon in the line up anymore. Stick him in the press box and only play him if there's an injury. Unfortunately he'll be back in there tomorrow and on the PP.

Teams are now overplaying the guys on the blue. When they dont, it cost them. If they do, it means alot of spaces for the forwards.
Space for the forwards they never use.

Something else the habs have missed for the longest time. Net front presence that can actually screen the goalie.

Best game by Moen since 11-12, hope Bourny is alright - would like him or Briere to flank Eller instead of Prust, that line needs someone to match their skill
Cube played last game. We've won games without Pacioretty before. I guess he's ****ing useless ?

Budaj was great aside from his softy. I don't agree with those who thought the defense was good. Multiple breakaways and odd man rushes, giving up the blue line with ease. Budaj saved the day, thats reality.

Good to see they created chances but need finish.

PP lacked killer instinct
