some upsets today

theres some young hungry teams out there. i knew going in canada was very strong on defense and in net. there scoring is gonna be low, a team effort.

and for those with a hard on from gagner, today guys like price, parent, staal and downie had to cover for him while he was in the box.

Gagner took some dumb, foolish penalties today, something that could have cost his team the game if it wasnt for the work of guys like Price in goal.

Downie's done the same. However, with that being said, Gagner is the best pure skill player in the draft this year. If the Flyers don't take him, then shame on them for passing on the most talented player in this year's draft. Everyone talks about Voracek, but this is a guy who should be running rampant in the Quebec League and he's looked anything but dominant. Gagner on the other hand has been dominant in a league that is much tougher than the Q.

i still say

take Alzner on d. a Wade Redden type player. we need d more than a small guy, thats ripping up the q.

at this point i like kane or gagner.

i would stay away from voracek.

and i don't think the D is up to par with the forwards this year at the top end of the draft. must pick the best player available.
