why watch since 70s on the 4th line of the flyers that was a enforcer like schutlz,brown,holmgren,berube,fedoruk.... not a player like raffl

Keyword there, it's 2013 now. Stop living in the past man. There's really no need to be playing Rosehill all 82 games in today's NHL.

I'm beginning to think you're Steve Coates or something.

Or maybe Andre "Poodle" Lussier... I hear he has only just came out of semi seclusion in Northern Quebec.

Once again, this is 2013, not 1970.

Agree but Schultz & Homer were at least decent to good hockey players on top of their pugilistic skills. Schultz put up 20 goals before & Homer put up 30 goals a few times while being in the box a ton.

The rest of his examples though there's not much to be desired there in terms of hockey skill.

You just named a bunch of goons & the time periods in which they played in then added nothing else to it.

How many teams had enforcers in the 70s? 80s? 90s? Now, how many teams have enforcers today in 2013? Compare them and I think you will find something interesting.

Goons win cups. I thought this was common knowledge.

Dressing Rinaldo is enough. Having Rosehill there is just redundant. Especially when you have guys like Simmonds and Hartnell that will drop the gloves too. Just because Rosehill is good at throwing punches, doesn't mean he's a better option than someone who is a better all around player.

I don't know why that's so hard to understand.

How many teams don't have a goon/enforcer in the league? Four or five teams maybe?

Rosehill isn't a big liability and you need a good mix in your line up.

Come playoff time you can put Rafl in for Rosehill.
