And why would the Canes make this trade? You know a trade has to have some benefit for BOTH teams.

Sorry to get off topic, I'll stop now.

You have your opinions, I have mine. At least with Burkie and JG we got into the playoffs - sure it might have taken a bit too long to know if we got in or not, but at least we were in the playoff picture for all of the season.

Thats true - they wouldnt be gaining much of anything. We could offer them a draft pick or something? I know! Three roles of hockey tape and 2 sticks!

A GDT turning into a goal tending discussion. I really did not see this coming.

Holmqvist and Denis for Grahame!

Why isn't Debbie the GM instead of Feaster?

I know you're being completely sarcastic, but thanks for the compliment (coming from you, I take that as a compliment).

I personally would have rather have our goalies be Holmqvist and Burke, and still have Modin. But maybe thats just me.

Nick Hanson, I love you. I might not agree completely with that statement, but I love your thinking anyway.

I'd like to have Modin back too.

I have a good spot in my heart for Burkie since he shut out the Penguins in my first Lightning game I ever attended.. he was awesome that day.

Can we please talk about the game last night and not the goalie debate that has been beaten to death, resurrected, and beaten again.

Yep, that makes me really sad. Vinny and Marty are my two favorite players and both are going to have huge seasons. If the rest of the team contributed as evenly as they do, we'd be close to Sabres effectiveness.

By the way, I'd take Modin over Denis any day, but I'm not getting into the why Burke and Grahame don't work out. It's obvious that goaltending is not our only problem, as anyone who has seen any game this season knows. Please stop with the stupid goalie debates! I've only been here a month and I'm already done with it. Every time we talk about goaltending we always get the B.S. "Bring Burkie Back!" crap, and I am, and I'm sure many of you are, tired of it.

If we're bringing back goalies, I'd like to suggest Bill Ranford.

Whta can we really add about the stink that was the Philly game? it wasn't really that big of an upset. the 15th ranked team beat the 13th ranked team. Not really that exciting of a headline. Face it, the Bolts stink this year. Almost 1999-2001 kinda stink. Just think the team salary was about 1/2 of what it is now and the results aren't much different.

Mike, gobolt, you must have been sitting near me for the Philly game. I was in 310, Row S (as in sky) because I couldn't sit any higher. I'm back to regular seats tomorrow (later today actually). I'm thinking my playoff ticket money will be converted to beer money over the bext 40+ games.

Richards?

His production doesn't seem to be there even though St. Louis and Lecavalier are having great seasons. I realize that they are on different lines right now, but what's up with him? Has he lost confidence? Is he dogging it? Or is he just snakebitten?

Seems to me that all this team needs is for the second line to click like Lecavalier and Prospal did last year.

I was in 313 row M last that night, It was the row right in front of the press box, thats how I had such a good view of who was there and who was talking to who.

As for playoff ticket money...I am debating what I am going to do with the savings this year.
