I know DD has no market value...but I don't think Erat has much more. I agree if were not going to add size/physicality why trade Bourque...
Bourque will soon start scoring because he always was a streak scorer.
We need to add players like Prusty 8 suggested.. Troy Brouwer, Jason Chimera, Steve Downie, Marcus Foligno, Nck Foligno, Andrew Shaw

MB needs to be on the phone with Mcphee offering any one of Briere, Bourque, Desharnais straight up for Erat.

I'd add a late pick if it meant moving either DD or Bourque

I'm not as down on Bourque as some are, but I'd do this trade. I think that Chimera would be a good fit on our team, and would ensure our Top 9 isn't way too small. Erat might bounce back playing with fellow Czech Pleks.

Patches - Eller - Briere
Erat - Pleks - Gionta
Chimera - Chucky - Gally
Prust - White - Bournival
Moen

I think Chimera just reupped with WSH, that being said he would make an excellent bottom 6 acquisition

I'd go with Caron.
Hes a good PKER from what I remember and hes a big body. Can play 4th line or 3rd line, I suppose.

cus shore has the potential to be a good bottom 6 center, glennie is a 1 dimensional player so he either has to be a top 6'er(which is very unlikely) or he'll just be a lifetime ahl'er
players like shore/leblanc etc. hold much more value than players like glennie

Send a message via MSN to go_habs_go
- If NJ are out of it, work out a trade for Jaromir Jagr, maybe involving David Desharnais.

-Work out a trade with WSH involving Erat, Chimera and Bourque/Gionta/Diaz/Picks

-Find a big 5th-6th Stay at home D-man with experience. Mark Stuart from the Jets.

GALCHENYUK - ELLER - GALLAGHER
PACIORETTY - BRIERE - BOURNIVAL
JAGR - PLEKANEC - ERAT
MOEN - CHIMERA - PRUST
PARROS

SUBBAN - MARKOV
EMELIN - GORGES
STUART - TINORDI
MURRAY

PRICE
BUDAJ

Those would be my plans going into the trade deadline.

Klesla on waivers, he'd definitely be a nice upgrade over Bouillon/Murray and would be solid on our 3rd pairing with Diaz.

I've seen this proposal on the trade board:

Gallagher
Beaulieu
1st

for

Couturier
Morin
2nd

Coots could replace Eller if we used him as the key piece for a Kane trade.

Gionta-Plek-Bournival
Galchenyuk-Couturier-Kane
Pacioretty-Desharnais-Prust

With Morin now in the pipeline.
