Tlusty & Gleason for Del Zotto and Pouliot? Is that fairly even?

We all know JR will probably use Tlusty as a piece for when he trades for Marc Staal after this season. Similar to the JStaal trade.

Perhaps a good question is how much would Carolina be willing to throw into a trade involving Ruutu to get rid of that contract?

After last night, less than the Canes would have before yesterday.

I'd be surprised, based on how the Canes played the Sens, and the compete level shown out of the slumping offense and Ruutu, among others, if they make a move now. The offense is showing signs of life now that they can open up their game with Ward back.

If Ruutu can continue to play like he has the last few games, they have less need to make a move and his contract doesn't look so bad for all the different things he brings and his ability to play in all situations.

While I agree for the most part, you have to take into consideration it was against the Sens D. Once they can score more than 2 goals on some other teams I'll believe it.

If they throw in a number one, a team might do it.
