I'd imagine Maz gets the start tonight and Hutton gets it tommorow.

lmao. I made that graphic up way too late last night. I will have to wait until I get home to fix that.

Last time we had back to backs, Maz started both.

Maz started both but got pulled in the first game. I won't be surprised if we see both goalies start during this back to back.

That scratched "Collin Wilson" sure looks a lot like Filip Forsberg.

See that's what happens when I keep re-using a template and it's late at night. I can't believe I did that twice

Should be fixed now.

They'd better be offering everyone in attendance tomorrow free prime rib on the club level if they do that.

One of these starts was likely a planned start for Hutton since the schedule was released. If so, I'm guessing Hutton plays at Columbus and Rinne...I mean Mazanec plays at home on Thanksgiving.

However, since Rinne is out and Hutton hasn't exactly shown much to be confident in in his absence...I think Mazanec could get both starts depending on how he tells the coaching staff he feels.

Remember though, there is only one day off before you turn around and have another tough game in your building on Saturday night. It's not just a back-to-back, but really three games in four nights with a short flight in between to start things off for the Predators.

It's kind of a pick 'em who goes when. Neither game is more important to the standings than the other for the Preds. They just need all the points they can get. I think Mazanec should rest one of these games lest he wear down. I don't think there is a firm time table for Pekka's return yet.

I take it that also explains Klein and Ellis as Centers and Jones and Bartley as Left Wings

Is there any chance Hutton starts just simply because they might wanna play Maz against a conference team tomorrow?

If it wasn't for the 3 games in 4 nights thing I'd expect Maz in tonight and tomorrow, but I just have a feeling Hutton will be in for one of them

From the CBJ side of things, the team plays either good or very bad. We don't know which of these teams you will be facing this evening (the one that got beaten 7-0 by Edmonton, or the one who beat Toronto 6-0 less than a week later).

That seems to be almost a mirror of the Predators.

Based on the injuries to CBJ's squad, you'd think this game was a gimme. Look at their lines... Yikes!

That being said, and parity being what it is... it's anyone's guess who will come out ahead.

That the Preds are going to face Bryzgalov tomorrow only makes these two games more interesting and amusing.

I think this is the biggest compliment you can give that organization.

Toronto thought they had the game in the bag too. Pure trap game. They work hard, hopefully they're prepared.

Did I read Wilson was scratched tonight? If so why?

That was a graphic error that I made when I put the thread together. I had Forsberg's picture next to Wilson's name under scratches. It has been fixed.

I would say that's probably Jack Johnson, not Aaron.
