that would be Jack Johnson. Aaron Johnson followed his BFF Rick Nash to the rags, and is in the AHL.

Columbus, nice arena but their atmosphere doesn't match it at all (albeit very small sample size). I went to a couple games earlier this year and made some observations.

Pros:

Nice arena, better than the Bridge in that area.
HD video board. You can see lines in ours and it's not as crisp as theirs. I know ours is older.
Better ribbon boards with nice in-game stats.
Better pro-shop. I think three of ours could fit in their one.
Their Ice-Girls aren't afraid to show a little more.
They have a goal cannon. Goes boom. They like it.
A little larger and nicer game program.

Cons:
Game atmosphere didn't compare to the Bridge. Crowd, in-game entertainment, video board stuff, intermissions, mascot, etc.
A lot of empty seats at both games.
The mid and upper level seats looked to be farther away from the ice than at the Bridge.
Security is really strict when you enter. But noticed ours has gotten more strict this season as well. (I wore regular street clothes both games)
Their ushers appreciate when you don't go to your seat when the puck is in play. I guess a lot of people walk by them during the game. Dunno? The usher thanked me for stopping though.

Nonetheless, I had a good time and it's always interesting to see new places. Going to away games makes me appreciate what we have here in Nashville even more.

" Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, my opinion, man."

I guess that makes up for it. Up 1-0 thanks to Cullen and a very smart play by Ellis.

They missed a boarding on Cullen at the end of the 1st.. that looked alot worse than it turned out.

3-0 Preds. Legwand with the goal.

Looking good, but the 3-0 lead is a bit scary the way this team plays.

that's one hell of a stat.

for those of you that didn't see it, we are best in the NHL (or maybe just the west?) when scoring 2+ goals so far this season.

12-1-1

They are unworthy of a cannon.

Also mentioned a stat in the 1st period that we are 10-1-2 when scoring the first goal. Both interesting stats.

I thought for sure when they showed that PK stat that they jinxed us. I was ready to give an assist to the producer if they scored on that PP.

If you're going to role a PK stat, at least wait until the penalty is killed.

Heh...unworthy of the cannon...

Glad to see these guys went to the East, now I can actually like them...to some extent

Even happier however to see us beating the ever-loving crap out of them. Just like old times.

The set up by Ellis back to Cullen on his goal was pretty nice, last year he would not have even been that patient, so that's a plus, the kid may have a shot after all.

Go Preds! See you guys tomorrow!

Because we use our 4th line as more of a shutdown line than an energy line. Then again, he is 19th on the roster in both total and ES TOI/G.
