Anyone actually see confirmation of Bournival being scratched? Or is it just speculation?

While he is a rookie and there are vets healthy and ready to play, I would be surprised that his speed, forechecking ability would be set aside.
The kid deserves a spot in the top 12. Hell, he has more goals and points than Bourque and Briere.

5pm start and rumors of benching bournival? Is this 'get overlords to flip all the desks' day?

I hope he's not scratched. Doesn't deserve it.

But if the plan is to play Parros against the Laffs, he needs to play tonight too. Parros needs to play to stay in game shape.

Honestly I don't think he needs any ice time to prepare to punch someone in the face, especially if it means sitting Bournival for an extra game.

Hey MT, here is an idea, play the same line up until we lose! The boys are clicking on all cylinders! Why change it now?

Yeah, put him on a line with Eller or Pleks to kill it.

Hmm, Bournival looks great... he makes Gionta and Plekanec look good... I wonder if he could do the same for White and Moen, on the 4th line...

*5 games later*

Maudit Bournival can't make them look good... it's ALL HIS FAULT. Time to scratch this useless kid.

But they did look good. Very good, in fact.

I do find Parros useless but every player on the roster needs to play from time to time. Bournival will be back in no time.

Seriously, where's the Bournival healthy scratch story coming from?

There's nothing from the media or on twitter. It wouldn't be the first time I missed some news, but I can't seem to find any info other than the lineup in this GDT.

I'm guessing the OP doesn't have the right lineup. If MT was going to insert Parros then tomorrow would be that game.

5pm game... I think it will go to a shoutout, and Budaj is very good at it.

4-3

edit: I hope the line-up will stay the same until we lose. Maybe switch Bournival with Prust but good lord don't scratch him, even against Toronto!

Parros doesn't need to play at all tonight to get into 'game shape' to punch some faces and hit the ice for a few minutes tomorrow vs. Toronto. If Bournival is scratched, then yeah, major I'll wait for confirmation though.

I think Bournival's leg is still purple from that puck he took, I think its just a rest day tbh.

Missed the last few games and have to miss the first half or so as this one.

We seem to be playing well without me watching though.

while I would rather beaulieu or tinordi in place of him, it makes sense since murray will play the 'tougher' leafs, to clear the crease.

makes sense to me.
