I may have underestimated Edmonton's ability to suck at defense though. A moveable object meeting a stoppable force.

... but they did destroy Toronto 6-0 on Monday.

I guess Columbus is due to be on the positive end of a blowout with a shutout...

You mean Bryz isn't rounding out into Vezina form? Color me shocked. Btw, the Leafs are not that good. They're struggling against Buffalo mightily, and they haven't looked much better in the other 4-5 games I've seen.

There are a lot of stats that indicate they're destined to plummet.

Yup. They're wins weren't sustainable. Plus, they lead the league in dick moves, so I hope they fall hard.

Looks like Bryz was pulled after allowing 4 goals on 23 shots in 2 periods for an .826 save percentage.

And now for something completely different, the Devils have turned around the game against the Canes after scoring 4 (so far) in the 3rd (boooooo). Jagr tied Yzerman with 692 goals for the 8th all time spot.

A Devils win is actually helpful for the Flyers playoff standing.

Though, it's far too early in the season for me to cheer for teams I generally wouldn't for the sake of the playoff race. Couldn't bring myself to cheer for the Habs tonight against the Caps. Actually fist pumped when Grabovski scored.

Do Stars fans whine about Benn's missed SOG(40) they way some Flyer fans whined about Carter's misses when he was here.

Those pads are massive. Really puts things into perspective about the pad sizes being limited.

He's had it ever since he came up. He was born in 1980 so I'm guessing that's the reasoning behind it.
