Is it too early to say that the leafs are finally falling back to earth?

There are people who do that for any stats though. I don't see the harm in more information, so long as you inform yourself on what the given stat is describing and make your own judgment based on all the information.

I'd take a few loser points to be honest.

Seriously, we'd be sitting a lot better if we had a few loser points.

Really nice first period between the Ranges and Canucks. Very intense and a ton of fast skating and hits. Doubt both teams can keep it up (especially the Rangers who played last night), but amazing to watch. Both teams want to win desperately. And great low camera angles in the renovated MSG.

Nothing is better than watching two teams play, who you usually don't get to watch, while reading the game day thread in one of the two teams forums. It really gives you a sense of perspective and shows how ****ing dumb hockey fans actually are.

lol, yeah, those Canucks fans sound an awful lot like us during a bad game.

But, what the hell. Gotta vent the frustration somewhere, eh?

Rangers demolishing the Canucks . . . how could Ottawa get dominated by these guys

Kinda strange, considering this is 2 games in less than 24 hours in 2 cities for the Rangers, too. You'd think they'd be fodder for the Canucks. Maybe the soft Nucks are already tuning out their coach.

Also shows what a long, long way Ottawa has to go. I'm thinking calling it a 3-year rebuild was a huge mistake for this franchise. Set up some unrealistic expectations. You can rebuild in 3 years if you have some pieces in place in addition to some top 3 picks in the draft....impossible to do picking mid-round most years.

I would like the scoreboard to fall at the opening faceoff. The resulting explosion vapourizes both benches, no fans are hurt. Both teams fold.

The Senators fall ass first into a wildcard spot.

Well it looks like the leafs are going through a terrible slump. I think i read that they only have two regulation wins in their last 14 or more games.

They've got a ridiculous schedule coming up too. SJ, Dal, Ott, Boston, LA, STL, Chicago, Pitts

Ugh, can Chris Kunitz stop scoring so we stop hearing ridiculous "Kunitz for Canada" talk.

It is going to be extremely tough to be a leafs fan in the month of december if the leafs keep on playing the way they are playing.

On another subject, it looks like the panthers are having no luck in the scoring department. They are outshooting the penguin and the penguins only have 6 shots, but the penguins are leading by 2.

Edit: It is now 3-0. Wow, the panthers are just unlucky now.

Is anyone really surprised by what is happening for the leafs? They have been having as much trouble defensively as the sens are having. The difference between the sens and the leafs however is that the leafs goaltenders have been standing on their heads while the sens goaltenders have regressed.
