Not "official" yet, but sounds like a sure-thing.

Thats great for Roli! Its always nice to see journeymen type players get rewarded late in there careers.

I'm glad for Roloson. He has worked a long time for this, and it's nice to see player who was once a journeyman make this kind of impression. Especially good since it's in Minny this year, go Rolly!

While everybody is happy for Roli, gotta mention Filip Kuba here as well. Personally, I was hoping Bruno would get the nod, but Kuba is a good choice as well. From bouncing around the minors in the Florida and Calgary organizations, and being exposed in the expansion draft- to the NHL All-Star Game four years later. Good for him!

Yeah, exactly. I'll admit, I'm a fan of Kuba's. I'll also admit I was surprised to see him named, and it's probably an All Star host team pick, or at least that had something to do with it.
Although this season he's not looked as good as last season, I don't think he's really that outrageous a choice for a Wild All Star. He leads the team in ice time, has 275 more minutes than the next guy, Nick Schultz. He's got more goals, assists (4th overall on team) and obviously points than any of our other defensemen. Did last year, too. People seem to get down on his +/-, but he finished the regular season last year at 0, too. Heck, Marshall was a +4. The +/- stat in Kuba's case gives you an unjust idea of his value to the team, I'd say.
