I don't see why we need to know specifics about these injuries. Unless of course you're looking for ammunition to complain if its earlier or later than they say.

Theres a meme of Hall rushing the puck against "Chara so I better keep my head down" It would be funny if not true. Hall fits the great lineage here of offering head on platter too many times. WE have a lot of guys that seem to not see hits coming.
I think it's a valid point. Being small and physically weak is a big part of it, but i think there is something to be said about learning to avoid injuries in the NHL. It is no accident that the problem reached pandemic proportions from 2007 on, just as the team generally got worse.

Well, it would be good to know the severity of some of the injuries. Pitlick was one of the few bright spots. Goes down with what might be a very serious injury and there is no update for more than a week.

any updates at all on Schultz. If he could play with Hall returning. We could almost be healthy. Well with Perron up the air. close though.

Injury updates

So Hall's back tonight. Do you guys have any idea of when the other guys will get back? From what I've heard Joensuu should be back this weekend. How about Belov, Schultz, Pitlick, Perron and Bachman?

They should try out J. Schultz on the wing when he gets back. Serious

J.Schultz/RNH/Eberle
Hall/Gagner/Yakupov
Perron/Gordon/Hemsky
Joenssu/Arcobello/Jones

Larsen or Fedun takes his spot

Quite honestly I am shocked Hall made it back before 3 weeks.

I hope his early return isn't a red flag.

I would change those up just a bit.

Hall-RNH-Yakupov
Perron-Gordon-Eberle
Joensuu-Gagner-J.Schultz
Omark-Arcobello-Hemsky

4 top 6 lines.

A team like the Oilers, especially in a cold weather city like Edmonton, who are very fast, should have a cold rink. Harder ice would significantly help our team against bigger and slower teams.

under Eakins they don't give specific time lines. There's not a lot of info because we don't know.

Anybody got anything on Pitlick?

Love the positive energy the kid brings. He skates hard, hits anything that moves, blocks shots, and even makes the odd play.

Coach Eakins says J-Schultz is battling a "chronic groin injury" and "took a step back" this week. "We're progressing him slowly."
